During my ultrasound, the technician quickly confirmed that A & C were boys, but B was being modest and making it difficult to tell his/her gender. After thoroughly checking out each baby, the technician decided to take another look at B. At this time, both my nurse practitioner and physician came in to see the babies. After a few minutes, it was confirmed that B is a girl! Most importantly, each of the babies are measuring on target for gestational age.
My doctor and nurse practitioner were both very happy with my progress and said that I didn't have to come back until 20 weeks. At that time, I will have the anatomy scan (a detailed ultrasound of each baby), and the scan alone will take about 90 minutes. Thus far, I have had a pretty uneventful pregnancy and hope to keep it that way.
Now the fun part...we have finally decided on names. They even passed the "Jaxon Test."
Kate Alice
Knox Emory
Nash Ellis
After they are born, Jaxon will name the boys. (Basically, he will choose which baby gets Nash and which baby gets Knox.) He is very excited about this part!
This past weekend, we also started our registries at Target and Wal-Mart. The next few weeks are going to be busy for us, and we figured that we should get started before walking becomes a daunting task for me!
Jaxon turns 6 on Saturday, May 28 and school will be out the following week. We are also planning a small trip to Gatlinburg in the coming weeks since our beach vacation was cancelled. Hopefully, we will all have a relaxing summer.
Thank you to everyone that has been praying for our family and the babies. Your prayers are truly appreciated. Please keep sending them up!
And finally, the belly picture that you've been waiting for... 17 weeks and 2 days.
I know this is what you really wanted to see.
Have a great week!
Noah, Allison, Jaxon, Kate, Knox & Nash
